Sinn 156

Professional pilot and founder Helmut Sinn launched the 156 collection in 1987 with the intention that the Sinn 156 would become a military watch and official equipment for the German Air Force. To this end, he used his professional contacts and the knowledge he had gained over decades to design the watch. The result was a professional mission watch. The Sinn 156 Chronograph is a classic military watch with all the technical and design attributes required for this purpose. Unfortunately, the 156 never made it into the Bundeswehr's list of equipment.

Today, the Sinn 156 is one of the most sought-after watches from the German manufacturer. The timepiece, which was produced between 1987 and 1997, is rarely found anymore, not least due to the small manufactured quantities. Over time, the 156 has undergone many design changes, including the case back, the crown, and also the dial. Additionally, the Sinn 156 was available as the classic Ref. 156 and as Ref. 156.MIL. The latter had the inscription "Military" on the dial. This reference is even rarer and therefore particularly sought after by collectors. The Sinn 156 price is accordingly higher.
