Patek Philippe Aquanaut
A combination of sportiness and sophistication: The Patek Philippe Aquanaut was launched in 1997 and is characterised by its sleekly curved octagonal shape and the complex construction of its case. The unique shape of the watch is reminiscent of the popular Nautilus – both of which gained admiration from lovers of sports watches. Whether roaming the countryside or diving in the ocean: the Patek Philippe Aquanaut suits any situation and provides outstanding style around the clock.
A characteristic feature of the Aquanaut is the attractive “Tropical” strap that is composed of a high-tech composite material. The bracelet is not only comfortable around the wrist, but also suprasses all expectations with its sturdy and robust composition. Furthermore, it is hypoallergenic and resistant to salt water and UV rays. The universal Aquanaut is waterproof up to a depth of 200 meters and can, therefore, be worn with ease while swimming or diving. Alternatively, the timepiece can also be paired with a stainless steel strap, as can be witnessed with the Ref. 5167/1A-001.
Additional distinctive features of the Aquanaut include relatively large indices and distinctive numbers that enhance the dial and overall legibility of the watch. Furthermore, a black embossed design adorns the dial of the timepiece. The classic Aquanaut that is void of complications (Ref. 5167) is powered by the SC 324 automatic movement, which also operates in the Nautilus (Ref. 5711). Mechanical finesse and unique design are artfully united in the Patek Philippe Aquanaut.
