The Bremont Martin Baker MBII is the result of extensive research by Bremont and Martin Baker. The 43-millimetre pilot's watch has an inner bezel operated via the crown at four o'clock. The built-in calibre BE-36AE ensures a high level of shock resistance and is protected from magnetic fields by a soft-iron cage.

Calibre specially developed for MBII

The calibre BE-36AE was developed in collaboration between the two British companies and was designed specifically to meet the extreme demands of a parachute release. The movement is based on the ETA 2836-2 and has been extensively modified by Bremont. Thus, the BE-36AE calibre has a chronometer certification and a significantly increased shock resistance compared to the basic calibre.
