The models in the Sinn 556 I series immediately catch the eye thanks to the simple, understated design of the dials, which forego numbers in favour of simple hour and minute markers. The hour and minute hands, the indices and, depending on the model, the second hands are phosphorescent, so that they're visible in poor lighting conditions or even in complete darkness.

In addition to classic black, the dials of the Sinn 556 I series are available in several sophisticated colours. The Sinn 556 I B and I M, for example, come in a delicately shimmering deep blue and mocha brown respectively. Both colour variants feature a subtle sunburst effect to give the minimalist design a final polish.
