In 2007, Longines added some modern pieces to the HydroConquest collection “Sport”, and set a new benchmark for the world of diving watches. The latter option (HydroQuest Chronograph Automatic) is equipped with the L688 movement with a column wheel, which was developed exclusively for Longines by the renowned movement producer ETA.

In addition to luminescent pointers, premium legibility is ensured with the addition of bold Arabic numerals in black, cream, or blue. Some chronograph functions are highlighted particularly well with the use of red paint.
