Modern 32110 calibre
IWC has given the Ref. IW326901 the modern 32110 calibre of the 32000 family launched in 2019. The 32110 calibre offers robustness, reliability and dependability essential for pilot's watches. This calibre is based on the ETA 2892-A2, which has been on the market since the 1970s, and it is one of the most tried and tested movements ever. The basic calibre is extensively modified and finished by the Manufacture Horlogère ValFleurier, which like IWC, belongs to Richemont. The 32110 calibre used in the reference IW326901 contains silicon components (such as the escape wheel and parts of the escapement) that make the watch more resistant to magnetic fields. The modified calibre also has a power reserve of 72 hours.
